In 2014, Army Geospatial Center, with support from the Geospatial Research Laboratory, launched a test bed to accelerate research and development to programs of record. This innovative enterprise gives developers an environment where systems could interact with fielded systems to improve planning, testing and fielding.
Today, Gary Blohm serves as the director for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Geospatial Center, Research Laboratory, and as part of Army staff as its Geospatial Officer.
